Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Minerva Apps ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the BrewPilot mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and have designed BrewPilot from the ground up to operate without collecting personal data.
By using BrewPilot, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Information We Collect
BrewPilot stores data locally on your device using SQLite, a local database. This data exists solely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. The data stored locally includes:
- Brew day records you create (measurements, notes, dates, ratings)
- Brew session logs (OG, FG, ABV, volumes)
- Brew day templates you save
- Calculator inputs and preferences you set within the App
- Tasting notes and ratings you add to your records
This data is stored only on your device and is under your full control. It is deleted when you uninstall the App, or when you choose to delete records within the App.

Information We Do Not Collect
BrewPilot does not collect, access, transmit, or process any of the following:
Personal Information
- Name, email address, or any account credentials
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or hardware identifiers
- Location data of any kind
- Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
- Payment or financial information
Usage & Analytics
- App usage patterns, screen views, or session duration
- Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to us
- Behavioural analytics or tracking of any kind
- IP addresses or network information
Communications
- We do not require account creation and collect no login credentials
- We do not send push notifications, emails, or marketing communications
- We do not operate any servers that receive data from the App

Data Storage
All data created within BrewPilot is stored locally on your device using the device's built-in storage. Specifically:
- A local SQLite database holds all your brew records, sessions, and settings
- This database is stored in the App's private storage area on your device
- No data is backed up to our servers at any time
- If you use your device's built-in backup service (such as iCloud or Google Backup), your local app data may be included in those backups — this is governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies respectively, not ours
You can delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the App. Individual records can be deleted within the App itself.

Third-Party Services
BrewPilot does not integrate with, or transmit data to, any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The App may be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your use of those platforms is subject to Apple's and Google's own privacy policies respectively. We have no control over data collected by those platforms in connection with the download or purchase of the App.
The Brew Day Schedule PDF feature uses your device's native file sharing capability (via the operating system's share sheet). No data is sent to us during this process.

Children's Privacy
BrewPilot is a homebrewing application intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region).
We do not knowingly collect any information from children. As the App collects no personal information from any user, no special measures regarding children's data are applicable beyond confirming the App is not intended for minors.

Your Rights
Because BrewPilot does not collect or store any personal data on our systems, traditional data subject rights (such as access, rectification, or erasure requests to us) do not apply in the conventional sense — there is simply no data held by us to action.
You retain full control over the data stored locally on your device:
- Access: All your data is visible within the App at all times
- Deletion: Delete individual records within the App, or uninstall the App to remove all data
- Portability: Your data remains on your device and is not locked to any account or external service
If you have questions about data held by Apple or Google in connection with your use of their platforms, please refer to their respective privacy policies.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide notice through the App or on our website.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of BrewPilot after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Given the privacy-first nature of BrewPilot, we do not anticipate changes that would introduce data collection — any such change would be communicated clearly and would require your affirmative consent.
